Episode 72

Last Episode Recap:

Our story last left off with Sweet Justice inside the tower of Ice Watch and standing before the Frost Giant chieftan known as Magnus Helmgrim. Magnus agreed to let the party delve into the ruins of Gul Maldor to find Xarlug's lost trade goods on the condition that they also find answers to the city's rapid demise. After agreeing to the Chieftan's condition, the group made arrangements with the Silver Face to hire guards to watch their wagon while they delved into the ruins.

After a few days of travel, Sweet Justice entered the ruins once again. They quickly found that the city had been overrun by the undead. However, some of the dwarven defenses still seemed to be intact as well. After defeating dozens of the creatures, the group found a large shaft leading deeper into the city. Valcann volunteered to make his way down to scout out the bottom. When he arrived, the observed a large skeleton…the size of a giant. He attempted to sneak further into the alcove but found the skeleton had awakened.
