Episode 79

Our story last left off with Sweet Justice in the Onyx Spire of Ophiar Zasim. It was immediately apparent that something was terribly wrong with the Lich. The party informed him that Archmage Za'vras was now in possesion of the Wand of Orcus. The Lich now believed that all is lost, the group was as good as dead, and the Lich would succomb to the Bloodlord. Sweet Justice informed him they now had a plan which included the Baron sneaking them into Sellone. After receiving some assistance and quarters from the evening from the Lich's apprentice, the party continued with their plans. Bryn used Sending to reach out to their contacts across the continent in an attempt to achieve a ceasfire between the kingdoms of Vantis and Ramcrown. It appears the party succeeded in this regard and would have a week for their plans to come to fruition.

After reaching out to their allies, Vin was able to user her new-found power of teleportation to quickly transport them to the hidden Elven city of Efrion. The group informed leadership of the incoming demonic threat, then made their way to meet the Baron at the Cragpass. The party was able to narrowly avoid detection by the red dragon, Varsiliax - the Crimson Dread. The party continued onward and unfortunately ran across a Sellone scouting party in the mountains.

The party tried to negotiate through the surprising situation, but ultimately had to resort to violence to avoid their plans being detected. After defeating their enemies, Vin teleported the group by using a small bag of sand from Khular'Halas that the Baron carries into battle. In that instant, the group was teleported inside the front gates of Sellone's capital city. When they arrived, their worst fears had become reality. Demons had begun invading the city and the Archmage Zav'ras' plan was in motion.
